Jeff Stone's landscape projects have received widespread recognition during the past two decades. He has received awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects, the California Landscape Contractors Association, and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine. In addition, several projects have been included on garden tours in La Jolla, Mission Hills, and Rancho Santa Fe. Numerous Jeff Stone projects have been published in national and regional publications, including magazines such as San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles, San Diego Decor and Style, Sunset, Better Homes and Gardens, and Traditional Home, and newspapers such as the La Jolla Light, San Diego Union-Tribune, and Los Angeles Times. Jeff's projects have also been been published in books such as Creating Privacy in the Garden, 3D Landscapes, and in many of the books published by Ortho and Sunset. Several projects were also featured in Water-wise Gardening for All Seasons, published by the San Diego County Water Authority.
